Privacy Policy
Last updated October 13, 2026
This policy explains what information WebYeti (run by Web Yeti LLC) collects, why, who it's shared with, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run WebYeti, we never sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
1. What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form that can't be read back.
- The waitlist: if you ask to hear when WebYeti opens, your email address and the first name you give. We use them only to send a confirmation and then one email when WebYeti opens, and you can unsubscribe from any of them.
- Your projects: the designs and sites you make, the messages you send to the AI, and the files you upload (pictures, videos, logos). Videos are made smaller on your own device before they're uploaded.
- Accounts you connect: when you connect a service like GitHub, Vercel, Netlify, Supabase, Canva or a social media account, we keep the access key it gives us (stored encrypted) and basic details of the account, like its name or username, so we can show which account is connected.
- How you use WebYeti: which features you use and how much (for example, how many AI requests), to run the service, keep it reliable and set fair limits.
- Visits to our own website: pages viewed, the site that sent you, rough location (country and city), browser and device type. We don't store IP addresses; a visitor is counted with a code that changes every day.
2. Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. Your browser may also keep small settings on your device, like the last tab you opened.
3. How we use it
- to run WebYeti: save your work, show previews, and do what you ask (design, edit, publish, post);
- to keep WebYeti secure and working, and fix problems;
- to send emails you need, like invitations and account messages, and the waitlist emails you asked for;
- to improve WebYeti, using usage counts and visit statistics (not the content of your projects).
4. Who it's shared with
We share information only with the services that run WebYeti for us, and only what each one needs:
- Hosting and storage: Vercel (runs WebYeti) and Supabase (stores files and data).
- AI: what you ask the AI, along with the project content it needs, is sent to Anthropic (Claude). Requests for new pictures are sent to OpenAI and Google. They process it to give WebYeti the result, under their business terms.
- Email: Resend sends WebYeti's emails.
- Royalty-free photos and videos: Pexels, Pixabay, Unsplash and Openverse receive search words, never your personal information.
- Accounts you connect: GitHub, Vercel, Netlify, Supabase, Canva and social media services receive what you choose to send them, when you ask (for example, your site's files when you publish, or a design and its caption when you post).
- When the law requires it: if we receive a valid legal request, or to protect people's safety.
We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for advertising.
5. Social media accounts
When you connect a social media account (such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest or X):
- we receive your basic profile (like your display name, username and profile picture) to show which account is connected;
- we post only the designs and captions you choose, to the account you choose, when you ask (now or at a time you set);
- we don't read your messages, contacts or followers, and we don't post anything on our own;
- you can disconnect at any time in WebYeti, and you can also remove WebYeti's access in the service's own settings. When you disconnect, we delete the access key we kept for that account.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account and projects while your account is open. A project you delete is removed from WebYeti. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your information within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep (for example, payment records). Details are on Deleting your data.
7. Keeping it safe
Connections to WebYeti are encrypted, passwords are hashed, and access keys for your connected accounts are encrypted. Only the people who run WebYeti can reach its systems, and only when needed to support it.
8. Your choices and rights
You can see and change your projects in WebYeti at any time, disconnect any account you connected, and delete projects. You can also ask us to send you a copy of your information, correct it, or delete it, by writing to mike@skribelabs.com. Depending on where you live (for example, in the European Union, the UK or California), you have these rights by law, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority. We'll answer within 30 days.
9. Children
WebYeti isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, tell us and we'll delete it.
10. Where it's stored
WebYeti's information is stored and processed in the United States, and by the services listed above, which may be in other countries. Where the law requires it, we use the safeguards it provides for these transfers.
11. Changes
We'll update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll tell you about important changes.
12. Contact
